Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Introduction

Inventury is built on a simple principle: we do not collect your data. There is no Inventury server holding your inventory, no account database, no tracking. Everything you create stays on your device and in your own private iCloud, protected by Apple's privacy infrastructure. This policy explains exactly what that means.

We Collect Nothing

We do not collect, receive, or store any personal information about you: - No analytics or tracking: Inventury includes no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not build usage profiles. - No identifiers: We do not collect device IDs, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, location, contacts or photos. - No inventory data: Your products, prices, costs, sales and customers never reach us. - No connection to you: We have no technical way to identify you or link any data to you as a user. We have nothing to sell, share or lose, because we hold nothing.

No Account, No Login

Inventury does not require you to create an account or set a password. The app works with your Apple ID through Apple's own system services. Sign in with Apple is only used when you choose it to identify yourself; Apple never shares your password with us, and we never see or store it.

Your Data Lives in Your iCloud

Your inventory data is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple CloudKit's private database, plus locally on your device. Apple encrypts it in transit and at rest. Inventury has no access to that container: your devices are simply windows into data that belongs to you. There is nothing for us to back up, read, or hand over.

Apple's Privacy Ecosystem

Inventury relies entirely on services Apple provides and governs: - iCloud / CloudKit: storage and sync of your inventory in your private account. - Apple Keychain: secure storage of any credentials you enter on your device. - Sign in with Apple: optional identification, with Apple's Hide My Email support. - App Store: distribution and payment processing. The handling of that data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy) and your agreement with Apple, not by any infrastructure of ours.

Store Integrations (WooCommerce & Shopify)

If you choose to connect an online store, Inventury communicates directly with that store from your device: - Credentials: The API keys or access tokens you provide are stored on your device (Apple Keychain) and synced only through your own iCloud account. We never receive, see, or store them. - Data exchanged: Only what the feature needs — catalog, products, variations, SKUs, prices and stock levels. Inventury reads this data to match it with your inventory and writes back the changes you explicitly confirm (publishing a product, updating a price or stock). - No intermediary server: Requests travel from your device to your store over HTTPS. They do not pass through Inventury's infrastructure, and we do not keep a copy of your store's data. - Their policies apply: Once data reaches WooCommerce or Shopify, it is governed by their own privacy policies and by the agreement you have with them. - Disconnecting: You can disconnect a store at any time from the app. Doing so deletes the stored credentials from your device and stops all communication with that store.

Team Collaboration

When you invite someone to collaborate on a store, the sharing is handled by Apple's CloudKit sharing between your iCloud account and theirs. The invited person sees the inventory you shared with them; we do not, and no copy passes through us.

Subscriptions & Purchases

Payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details, billing address or Apple ID. Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated sales figures that cannot identify you. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be managed or canceled at any time in your App Store account settings.

Website & Waitlist

The only case in which you can give us data directly is outside the app: if you enter your email address in the waitlist form on inventury.app, or write to our support address. In that case: - What we hold: your email address, and nothing else. - What it is used for: replying to your message. Nothing else — no marketing lists, no third parties. - Deletion: write to support@inventury.app and we delete it.

Your Rights & Data Export

Because your data lives in your iCloud account, you exercise your rights directly, without asking anyone: - Access and correct: everything is visible and editable in the app. - Export: CSV or the complete .inventury backup, at any time. - Delete: deleting your data in the app, or removing the app's iCloud data from your Apple ID settings, erases it permanently. There is no data request to send us, because we do not hold copies. For anything else, contact support@inventury.app.

Children's Privacy

Inventury is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age set by your region's law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age — and, as described above, we do not collect personal information at all.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, through in-app notifications.
